Top Platforms for Your Website

When creating a website, there are many things to consider, such as prices, tools and capabilities. And things can get complicated easily so keep all that in mind when choosing the platform you are going to. We picked 3 platforms that for us need to be considered by you.

1. Wix

Wix is a great platform it allows for a more complex design as well as a simple one if you don't have too much experience. If your business is specially focused on service providing I believe Wix should be your first option for e-commerce Wix does have those options but there are more e-commerce focus options. Nonetheless, Wix has great prices if you just starting out and is pretty straightforward for your SEO. To find more info about Wix pricing and tools click here.

2. Shopify

Shopify just like Wix is a pretty well-known and established plataform. In my experience, Shopify is really e-commerce focused and is known for that its also really focused on B2C sales. This platform has some limitations when creating a website since you can't add individual elements only entire sections and only certain elements are available on their default themes so you might have some additional spending purchasing new themes. But because of how well-known Shopify is there are a lot of options for third-party apps as well as their POS system that could be integrated into your physical store. You can read more about it here.

3. Squarespace

Square space is a mix of Shopify and Wix it allows for more complex editing like Wix but it has more established e-commerce like Shopify for all these features you do pay a little more than Shopify on the monthly subscription. Square space has a great library of templates keep in mind that if you will have multiple people working on the website you will require to get a higher subscription. To read more click here.

4. Worth Mentions.

These 3 are the main platforms that you need to consider however there are others that are worth mentioning such as Duda, GoDaddy, and Weebly. The reason why they are not mentioned in more detail is that they are either more expensive or not well established. For additional tips sign up for our newsletter or check out our blog.
